Over the last 20 years, our student-athletes have moved on to participate at the collegiate level at nearly FOUR TIMES the US national average. All Positive Impact college training and readiness programs are designed to allow highly academic student-athletes to follow an efficient, highly effective training regimen that will keep them healthy and at peak performance, while also balancing academic, social and family demands.

Mack Paciorek

  • Former Infield coach for the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps

  • Head Coach at San Marino High School for 10 seasons

  • Head Coach at Pasadena Polytechnic High School where he helped lead the Panthers to a CIF Title in 2018 in a season that also saw him named the Cal-Hi Sports California Coach of the Year

  • One of nine Paciorek family members to have played professional baseball

  • All-Big 12 selection at Iowa State University in the Big 12 Conference

  • Attended San Marino High School.  1995 CIF Champions

  • 2-time California All-CIF selection and an All-State selection in 1995

Dave Coggin is a former Major League pitcher, professional pitching coach, and player-development specialist with decades of experience developing pitchers from youth baseball through the collegiate and professional levels.

  • First-round draft pick of the Philadelphia Phillies

  • 13-year professional baseball career, including three seasons in the Major Leagues

  • Founder & Owner, PFA Sports Academy — Performance Fitness for Athletes in Montclair, California

  • Founder, The Shove Day — a pitchers showcase connecting talented athletes with college coaches and recruiting opportunities

  • Founder, PFA Strong Foundation — supporting athletes and families through sports and player-development opportunities

  • Owner, PocketPath

  • Has worked with hundreds of collegiate and professional pitchers, including MLB players Joe Kelly, Cody Ponce, Nick Lodolo, Tyler Wells, Adam Plutko, Vincent Velasquez, and Daniel Robertson

  • Specializes in velocity, command, strength, arm health, biomechanics, pitch design, and player development

  • Provides college recruiting guidance and development pathways for aspiring collegiate players

Today, Coggin continues to develop pitchers at every level through PFA Sports Academy, combining professional experience with a practical, athlete-centered approach designed to improve performance, build strength, and keep pitchers healthy.
