Our Mission

Over the last 20 years, our student-athletes have moved on to participate at the collegiate level at nearly FOUR TIMES the US national average. All Positive Impact college training and readiness programs are designed to allow highly academic student-athletes to follow an efficient, highly effective training regimen that will keep them healthy and at peak performance, while also balancing academic, social and family demands.

Mack Paciorek

Program Director, Infield/Hitting Instructor

  • Owner and Director of Positive Impact Players, Inc.

  • Former Infield coach for the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps

  • Head Coach at San Marino High School for 10 seasons

  • Head Coach at Pasadena Polytechnic High School where he helped lead the Panthers to a CIF Title in 2018 in a season that also saw him named the Cal-Hi Sports California Coach of the Year

  • One of nine Paciorek family members to have played professional baseball

  • All-Big 12 selection at Iowa State University in the Big 12 Conference

  • Attended San Marino High School.  1995 CIF Champions

  • 2-time California All-CIF selection and an All-State selection in 1995

  • Former Catching Coach at Providence Christian

  • Former Head Coach at Pasadena Polytechnic High School.  2018 CIF Champions

  • Played four seasons of Professional Baseball

  • Played four years of College Baseball at Cal Poly Pomona and Holy Names University

  • Attended Glendora High School. 2010 CIF Champions

Dave Coggin

Pitching Specialist

  • 3 Year Major League Career as a Pitcher with the Philadelphia Phillies

  • 13-year Professional Baseball player 

  • Owner PocketPath, PFA Strong Foundation, and Performance Fitness for Athletes (PFA) in Montclair, CA

  • Reputation as one of the few top pitching experts in the country, with a simple and realistic approach to helping athletes improve, get stronger and stay healthy

  • Has worked with top MLB Stars such as Daniel Robertson, Joe Kelly, Adam Plutko, and Vincent Velasquez

  • Attended Upland High School

  • Was offered a full scholarship at Clemson University to play Quarterback and to pitch for the Clemson Tigers, but he ultimately turned it down and signed a pro baseball contract with the Phillies

  • Professional baseball player with the Milwaukee Brewers and Pittsburg Pirates

  • Played two years at Cal Poly Pomona under legendary head coach John Scolinos
